I have said many times that I was really down, and I knew somewhere on the internet, I would find some humor about colon cancer. I read something that was humorous, but realized I was on a forum of what seemed to be very knowledgeable people. I have never been fond of internet social media, as I am really a computer idiot. When I was going to school, they didn't have calculators, that were not attached to a cord, (of course unless it was an abacus ).
Now for the screen name
I was out having a beer one night, and I met this musician, Isaac Payton Sweat. Isaac, took an old folk song, and wrote his own set of words to it. In Texas, we call it the Cotton eyed Joe. Well one of Isaac's best friends, was Justin Case.
As I queried over such an unusual name, and obviously parents with a sense of humor, it just hung in the back of my mind.
So, as I am a computer invalid, I was certainly not going to use my name, and the analogy unfolded in my very overwrought situation, that I better join this club, just in case I could learn something. To whom it may concern, I learned a lot.
Warm regards,
Michael

Well,....for one thing, it's a username that I've used for quite sometime in Linux and computer forums. Since the early 1990's, actually. And secondly,...I used to work the night shifts a lot. "Instrumentation Technician" at a large citrus juice plant,...then went into health care. Night shifts, of course. :)

Now I'm retired, and not so much of a night owl,...but the name seems to still stick. Besides, the soft night winds can be really nice down here in the "Sunshine State" ....if it aien't raining, that is.

Ziggymonster was my dear poodle that died from cancer sleeping next to me. She was originally Ziggy but in her early years she was beyond wild.....used to eat all my tomatoes from the garden...I thought it was raccoons but finally caught her pulling them off the plants. She would race around the house like she had itchy hemorrhoids, knocking all the cushions off the furniture , tear up the bed.... blankets sheets everywhere....she was a crackup I miss her dearly. She would sit for hours looking out the window at the birds in my feeder...almost like a cat.

WELL Thanks for pushing this back up to the top & in front of my face Delinda!

I started to look at the 2010 post of names CRGuy linked here & had to break for dinner the other night.
Then I forgot like a stooge to go back to it. And now I know the story about CRGuy & the missing "C"

A lot of great stories, about a lot of great folk..........and what stood out in MY mind.... is a lot of them ARE still here with us
so knowing a little about your name choices.... we get to know a little more about US
Love YOU guys!

Vickie, I just love you! You are so full of life & fun that I start to smile when I see you've posted anything. And if you're not being a silly nut case (and I mean that in the best possible way!) you are brimming with love for someone in need. You're a hoot, a peach, a dear, and one in a zillion.
