I started looking for a real support group with Facebook, so I'd sign up. By real I mean a site where real victims discuss real topics of dealing with this curse. I'm not one to sit around feeling sorry for myself and while mindful of other people having lost loved ones to this plague, I'd rather not read their memorials. They are not relevant to my situation and need for information. So get one open and let me know.

Spartan, this is by far the best site for info and support. Unfortunately there's a lot of bad news that comes along with this. It's hard to see for sure.

There is a search engine at the top of the page. If you enter a topic relevant to you situation, you might find talk about it. I don't suggest entering (I have cancer), we all do or have had. You might post a new topic, and you might find people with your exact situation responding. The only thing I know about you, is you don't sit around feeling sorry for yourself. Perhaps, when I was younger, I learned if your not specific, some don't know what you want, and can't give a specific reply. There is nothing about being a cancer patient going through treatment, that we would consider trivial. It ain't easy, and we all know that. With that in mind, our experiences possibly could ease your situation.

I have a LOT of links for this. Did some pretty extensive research into Cannabis Oil, clinical trials, Rick Simpson, etc, etc.
Should I pop them here???? It is not illegal to do so.... I'm not selling it. Just posting interesting LINKS
Or is that a big no-no????

If you can't buy Everclear in your state, you can sub in 151 Rum. I've never used it (I can buy EC at my local liquor store), but to my mind (lung involvement) drinking it is the way to go. My recipe is pretty simple:

Grind up an oz of good bud in a blender
Put it in a hot oven until it starts to stink up the kitchen
Put into a wide-mouth quart Mason jar
Fill jar with EC or 151 Rum
Put lid on tight
Let sit, shaking occasionally, for 24-48 hours
Pour through a coffee filter

Makes a fifth of Green Dragon.

The longer you let it sit, the nastier it tastes, as the chlorophyl starts to dissolve more rapidly the longer it sits. Usually, 24 hours is enough time to dissolve the THC into the alcohol.

Depending on your tolerance for weed (after years of rec use, mine is pretty high), put a tablespoon or less into a small glass of juice (orange juice masks the chlorophyl pretty well), and drink it down in two or three big gulps.

You get a mild alcohol buzz right off the bat from the alc. In a about an hour, you suddenly realize that you're pretty baked.

A couple more observations:

1.) For some reason, I get immediate (a minute or two) and complete relief from nausea.

2.) When it's combatting nausea, you don't get nearly as stoned as you do when you're just drinking it to cop a buzz. (Yes, I admit it.)
