NED - 4 Years August 1st 2014

Good news...

Had clean CT scans in April 2014

Had my 3 year colonoscopy and had one small polyp found and removed 2 weeks ago.

Got my official path report today and it was not even a precancerous polyp so I will be NED 4 years on August 1st 2014

Recurrence 6/2017
12/2017 Surgery removed all cancer w/ clean margins
07-27-2018 Cancer-free for 7 months

Why couldn't they tell you that 2 weeks ago? I believe Doctors just want to see how far they can go, before they actually have to refer you to the psych . ward :roll:

Oh they really dragged it out on the path report this time... I figured that everyone went on vacation in July and left me waiting for results... I finally called and told them it was cruel to let a colon cancer survivor wait for test results. :evil: :evil:

Still took another 2 days for it to be sent electronically. :roll: :roll:

Finally I just Googled the results and found my name on the net and something about BBQ ribs after my test and the Colon Club. :twisted: :wink:

Would be really nice if they would pick up the phone and call and talk to me or even schedule a follow up visit to view the video and see the parts of me that I can only see when my head is upside down. :lol: :lol:

They just don't take this stuff serious enough... right?!

Colonoscopy 3/10 for ? hemmorrhoid.
Diag Colon Cancer 3 days later
Colon Ressection 3/30/10
Stage 3B 5/14 Nodes positive.
Power Port and 7 months of Chemo
Port removed 11/11
8 negative Cat Scans..... 10 years cancer free and Discharged from Sloane Kett!!
Diag age 47 , now 57 Mom of 3 boys.

So happy for you. Just started chemo, round 2 on Monday. Our stats are the same. Hope I'm as blessed ! Kathy :)
