I'm turning the age I originally heard about 47 years ago when for the first time I listened to my brand new copy of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!
Couldn't really imagine it at the time. ha!

Sure, I'll throw my hat in the ring too - birthday #51 is on the 27th and my 4-year cancer-versary is the 20th (based on surgery, this puts me at 3 yrs, 9 months NED; based on the end of chemo/rad, I'm closing in on 3 yrs)

CT- numerous mets in abdomen - LN, 2 big ones on pancreas, one penetrated right urether. Surgery, they just take samples for PHD, 6 roundds 5FU, refuse further chemos

I will be 42 on July 28th. My 4 year anniversary since diagnosis is August 28th just 5 days after my son's 4th birthday. The joy of celebrating birthdays is not lost on any one on this board. My wish is always for more birthdays...

Hey, thank you! I will take some July birthday wishes! My birthday is in about a week and I just got my "all clear" CT scans after my last FOLFOX treatment!

It's my birthday today. I just want to say I got the crappiest or no presents from my family and friends. Last year I got gold and diamond necklaces, new makeup, an entire new wardrobe, perfume, chocolate...you name it I got it. The difference is I was diagnosed just before my birthday last year and now that I am NED I back to the regular crap of being ignored. I hope this happens EVERY BIRTHDAY! :D :D :D

Today (7/15) is the BIG 50 for me!! I am very thankful - my 46th bd was the day I was dx'ed. So every other birthday is great! My friends are giving me a hard time about turning 50, but I say bring it on!

I got another clean scan last month and that was the best present ever!!

My birthday is July 17 and I am turning 36. Last year on my birthday I drove an hour north to meet the surgeon who would perform my colon resection surgery the next week. My spouse and I really liked the surgeon and left feeling very confident in her abilities - best present I could have asked for given the situation.
