Good luck with everything. Both of my daughters were adopted right here in Jersey through Catholic Charities. The paperwork was more than my mortgage and the fingerprints and all involved. I think those having natural children should have to go through what we went through and take some classes. There are some idiots out there that shouldn't be reproducing. Once home, they are yours and always will be. People would tell us how wonderful it was we adopted and what a wonderful thing we did for those kids. BS, we were greedy and wanted to be parents. Just worked out great for us as they are now 15 and 10 and growing beautifully in spite of me.
Good luck,
Allen

Wanted to give a happy update. Eric had his scan yesterday and it was all clear! We feel like the luckiest people in the world right now with this news and also because our daughter, Rowan, is about to turn three months old next week. Our adoption happened much faster than we anticipated. We are visiting her birth family this weekend and can't wait to share this awesome news with them.

I mostly lurk now. I remember reading a post a while back about why people stick around. I cannot really articulate why I do but I know I will continue to lurk and hopefully offer some good advice or words of encouragement once in a while.

Love to all!
