Gwen,

Not what I wanted to see when I logged on. Your attitude is amazing! I pray that you will have that Christmas with your little grandchild and that you will ring in the New Year with a birthday celebration! You have always been so kind and supportive to everyone here. Now it is time for you to feel the love and support that we all have for you.

Guinevere, you took time from your own struggle to offer me kind words when I posted on here that my father had a brain tumor, and probably not much time left.

My dad, like you, has a granddaughter (my daughter)--six months yesterday. I am so grateful that both you and my dad were able to meet your little grandbabies and welcome them to the world. Both your Princess and mine were eagerly awaited, and loved and cherished by their grandparents when they arrived. They will know that forever.

I wanted to send you much love.

Oddly, I do feel the cyber hugs! I know a lot of people feel the internet is too cold and impersonal but I haven't found that to be the case. I've made deep, good friendships with people I've "met" here and on a couple of other forums.

CRguy, eating those Cheetos is definitely better than the aforementioned Cheerios!

Julie, let me know when you find the magic wand!

If I've helped anyone here, I'm just returning what I've been given on this board - love, support and laughter.

God bless ~

You sound like a perfect candidate for HAI at MSK. Liver limited metastases and you appear to be in fairly good health still, the heart issue can probably be managed by your team. Also, although Dr. Kemeny is the head cheese in there, ALL the oncologists work with her and use the pump, so you don't have to wait to get an appointment with her. There have been lots of people here and out in the world who have achieved long term remission, or even cure from this therapy. Do what you need to do to get to NYC, I know that it's tough, financially challenging, but, it's your life, give it all you got. My opinion. By the way, MSKCC takes a couple of the ACA plans offered in NY State. I don't know where you are, but I'm sure you can work with them. They are a teaching hospital, believe it or not, profit is not their main objective. Peace.

Good afternoon Gwen,

Your caring for others, encouragement, and positive outlook about life inspires me each day.

Somehow, I believe that a solution will develop for you, and that you will be with us, healthy, for many years to come.

Be well,

Alan
