Endoscopy coming up and worried

I've got an endoscopy the beg of May and I'm a bit worried. I've had NED for 20 yrs however I have a number of polyps in the bottom of my stomach and some in my small bowel. I've had chronic pain for many yrs that is well managed however I've got new pain that has been very similar to obstruction pain. I'm trying not to think about it but it's always in the back of my mind knowing that we are not cured, and it can reer it's ugly head at any time. Ughh I hope it goes well

Steve, Proton Pump inhibitors like Aciphex can create whole polyp gardens in your stomach, which is why physicians normally only prescribe it for a short time. Have you been using any drugs like that for an acid reflux condition? My husband had to be on Aciphex for a few years and once he could stop using it, his stomach polyps disappeared in a very short period of time. Good luck with your endoscopy.

No. Haven't used anything. The polyps have been there for many years. They usually biopsy them on a yearly basis because they're pre cancerous. It's been a few yrs since they did a scope.
