DH has first CAT scan today. Any spiritual support would be appreciated!!

Nov2013, +colonoscopy, Dec: partial Colectomy: T3N4M0.
Starting Folfox 1/9/14. Chemo completed June, 2014.
CT clear Dec 2014 & Aug 2015. But having N & V. CEA up to 5 (highest previously 0.9) some liver enzymes mildly elevated.
Sept 2015 - N & V from gastric erosions, and MRI shows "spots" in liver.
October: Upcoming PET scan, needle biopsy of liver, port re-insertion and chemo.

Jeroling, I see you're an RN and wasn't sure if you work at the facility so get results faster than most of us. I am a believer and prayed as soon as I saw this today (3 days after you posted your request).
Hope to hear an update soon.
I'm an 'honest news' type girl so, yeah, it does sound like you might be looking at some mets now or down the line but gosh things have changed in just a few years! My onc told me when I had my liver met 2 years ago that just 5 or so years earlier and he would have offered me chemo only even tho it was smaller than a dime. Instead I had it removed with NO follow up chemo. Yep, I'm now a Stage IVa but I was NED for just under 3 years and NED again for 21 months. 5 years in this and I've only been 'sick or uncomfortable' a short amount of time in those 5 years!
Psalm 103 says (in everyday language)

No such luck. It is a HIPPA violation for me to access his medical records. I guess if I wanted to be a pushy, aggressive wife, I could do that... but I try to trust the Lord more than that and that is not the kind of woman my husband would want me to be. I guess knowing the results of the scan is not going to change anything in the next week and a half, but it is anxiety producing, not knowing.
DH is having his surgical consult tomorrow for port placement. I am planning on going with and asking his surgeon about the CAT scan results. He knows us and he also did the colonoscopy and colon surgery for DH. He didn't order the scan, but I can't imagine he wouldn't give us the results.
