Coping with the Holidays from MSKCC

Postby chrissyrice » Sun Dec 22, 2013 3:44 pm

I found this article on the Cancer Connect web boards and wanted to share it here. I lost one of my best friends recently to cancer and this is the first Christmas without her. It can be a very hard time of year for friends, families, and caregivers.

Check out this blog from MSKCC on "When the Holiday Cheer Gets You Down: Eight Tips for Coping with Difficult Emotions."

Hopefully someone will fix the link :?

Thank you Chrissy. We just lost my husband's uncle to melanoma less than a month ago. I am afraid that my MIL may not come back from this loss. I will keep this list on me if she is ever ready to see, but it helps us all too.
Peace.
