I'm sorry you are going through this. My mom had a resection surgery back in January and as of early October, was informed she has a partial blockage due to scar tissue from this surgery. In November, she began to show the symptoms of the blockage. She had horrible nausea and vomited after every meal, and had no gas or bowel movements.
In the hospital, they let us know they would prefer not to operate, as further surgery can cause more scar tissue/blockage.
Instead, they used an NG tube (a tube that goes up her nose, and into her stomach). This tube then drains all of the bile/waste in her stomach, as she was not having a bowel movement. Although, she absolutely hated the tube going in, she felt SOOOO much better once her stomach was drained. There is also now no waste weighing upon the blockage. Then, they put her on a liquid diet, then a thicker liquid diet (lots of Ensure/Boost to make sure she was getting enough calories).
She had to be hospitalized twice for this, but is healing and improving a lot as each day goes by. She is now passing gas and having bowel movements.
I hope this helps, and I hope you feel better soon!!!!
