Loss of Danimags

Postby Val*pal » Tue Oct 29, 2013 6:48 pm

I just happened to search on this forum about shortness of breath symptoms that my husband is experiencing, and one "hit" was from Danimags who had a topic in July 2013 of "Throwing in the Towel." Out of curiosity, I googled her name (her profile had fb info) and sadly found an obituary for her from August. I just thought the rest of the forum would want to know. I don't think she has been included in CRGuys 2013 In Memoriam.

Bless you Dani.

Thank you for letting us know. I would encourage you to add her name and date of passing to the 2013 thread on those we have lost; with her screen name too. I read through some of her last posts from July. This is just heart breaking. I hope she was able to find peace and comfort in her final days.

Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.

I also googled Dani's name and found something even sadder. Her sister also was battling cancer - breast cancer. They both vowed to die on the same day so as one would not be left behind to watch the other die. Sadly, that 'vow' came true. Dani died first at 5PM on a Saturday night (August 10) with her family by her side at home. 2.5 hours later, her sister died in her home with her son & mother at her side.
At least the two sisters, who appear to have been extremely close are at peace together. As awful as it sounds, I imagine that the two surviving sisters are grateful that both of their sisters died together and didn't have to watch each other suffer any longer.

Rest in peace Dani and Teri (her sister).

It is so sad, I am sorry about Dani's passong, and even sadder when read about Teri, her sister, it was their wish and they are together now, pain free, but the rest of the family is surely devastated and sad........cancer is ugly beast.

As romantic as it sounds for the two sisters to die within hours of each other, my heart goes out to the survivors. I have two sisters and two brothers. My two sisters are 18 months apart and I would be bereft without them. Of course, I'm the one with the cancer and they help me but I just can't imagine...
