Oh Ashlee, this is heartbreaking news. It's only been four months. I always hate when they give you the bad news but soon after they develop a plan and things look brighter. You have beat this down before and you can do it again!!!!
I believe that!
Thinking of you my friend.

Hi Ashley,
I read your post last night and you were on my mind as soon as I woke up. I feel
sick to my stomach about it. I am so sorry. I hope that treatment pushes that evil cancer back. I
hope that your onc is keeping his eyes open for some promissing trials.

Ashlee, I do not know you but your strength of character has always come through on this forum with such clarity. I am so incredibly sorry and so incredibly angry at this disease.
I know I cannot help in any way but I am holding you in my thoughts and hopes.

I'm so sorry Ashlee. I really hoped (prayed) that the scan would be fine. Praying the chemo can shrink those lesions and nodes so you can have surgery and many, many more Christmases!

Ashlee ,

I read your post yesterday as I was getting my Folfiri/Avastin at Md Anderson. My stomach just dropped. I was hoping you would have got good news of some sort. There is nothing that I can say that is going to help the situation, just know that I am praying for you an sending hugs that Foliri will be helpful of some sort beating it down for you.

Ashlee- our prayers are with you. You've been such a trooper and hero to our little corner of the world. My wife is probably facing similar circumstances now on folfiri+ erbitux + avastin (in a few weeks) and maybe the ziv-aflibarcept (in a few weeks). The big question in my mind is how much can one person handle? The treatment alone for a few months seems like asking too much.

Our best to you, Concerned Relative

rough news - I am very sorry to hear it. I have been thinking about you since reading this post last night but just didn't know what to say. I still don't ... but wanted you to know that you're in my prayers and that I am hopeful chemo will knock these stubborn suckers down again.

Damn cancer. I wish it would leave you alone once and for all. I'm praying that chemo will knock it down for a long while so you can have more time. You've always dealt with your diagnosis sensibly and realistically. I admire that. I wish the road was different, but know you have lots of support here!
