lost my chemo buddy

Postby SoConfused » Wed Sep 11, 2013 10:04 am

this wonderful, kind, caring, gentle man who was introduced to me by our mutual oncologist. He was just starting his journey and needed encouragement ... so she thought it would be a good idea to connect. Though our schedules and treatments differed, we continued to keep in touch and just last week, I called his wife to check up on him. He had switched oncologists and was hoping to start a new clinical trial. Last night, I got a call from his sister telling me that Bill had passed on Sunday ... everything happened so fast and he didn't suffer for very long. My heart is broken for him and his loving family. Please keep Bill in your prayers.

That is so hard, and so sad. I am truly sorry for the loss of your friend Bill, the man you tried to valiantly to help and support, and sorry for the awful loss to his family. I'm glad he didn't suffer for too long. Cancer sucks.

Hugs to you,

Bev

I'm so sorry that you lost your chemo buddy. There are some art cancer center that always seem to be infusing when I was infusing and I know I've missed them when they're not there anymore whether they've finished infusing or they've passed away.

God bless ~
