I for one am cheering you on, Voxx. Hope old Folfoxy isn't too bad and you'll be able to have a beer when you're feeling up to it. :)

I think probably tomorrow I'll be up for one. No oral steroids this round so fatigue but at least I can sleep. I can always hit the old Earl Grey up if I need energy.

And thanks Christine. I appreciate it.

Thank you Christine. Praying for you also.
Voxx, you sound just about the same as my DH. His left lobe is full of tumor and multiples in the right. Are you having any issues with breathing? He gets out of breath just walking 10 feet. And is as weak as a baby. I don't know f that is the chemo or the tumor pushing up into his upper cavity.
Had his second infusion this week (Erbitux only on Monday). But today, as the Onc said, they threw the kitchen sink at him. Folfox, iri,Oxy,xeloda. And home for the pump of 5FU. He has spent most of the evening in the bathroom and sleeping.

No breathing problems at all so far (unless you count last year with anemia) Got some naps today and I feel pretty good atm. I'm not weak per se but I tire easily so have to be careful what I take on. But remember - this is just my second round of chemo. I'm not worn down yet. And no nausea as of yet. That makes hydration easy and I think that is key to me getting through this as smoothly as possible. I'm pretty sure as is my oncologist that I will continue to handle the initial side-effects well but of course I am very apprehensive about the neuropathy. But come to think of it, If the chemo doesn't work I think I won't have to worry long. If it does work I will be so relieved that I may be able to keep my perspective.

They are throwing some heavy stuff at your husband to be sure so I'd be surprised if he wasn't extremely weak and fatigued especially after all he has been through. I'll keep up the hopes and prayers for you and him.
