- Just a note about your wife's return trip in October. She should make sure that she doesn't catch a cold on the long return trip (by getting chilled in the aircraft or in the transit lounge). The last thing she wants to have is another chest cold just before her repeat scan in November. It seems to me that the original scan may have given a false positive due to you wife's bad chest cold just before that scan. Now she has to make sure she avoids the same thing happening this next time around.
Also, she should try to eliminate any other activities in that time frame that might trigger a false positive lung "thingy". For example, I think she should probably try to avoid second-hand smoke and being present in smoke-filled rooms, because this might also cause some inflammation in the lung.
