O/T My husband's cancer

Postby Bev G » Mon Jul 15, 2013 11:46 am

From my Facebook

My husband, who has had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for the past year and a half had his PET/CT today. The cancer is back...in/on one of his kidneys this time. The giant lesion that was around his celiac artery has quieted down. This new rascal will almost certainly require some new chemo, but he is sort of out of chemo options. We are seeing our oncologist on Thursday and I'm pretty sure she will come up with something to do about it. You guys know the drill by now: prayers, swinging chickens, Gregorian chants...whatever you've got to throw at this with us! Love you all!

I'll add him to my prayer list. Hoping that the Dr. comes up with something to help him.

I am sorry to hear his cancer is back ... hopefully, whatever the oncologist decides to do next will get him back into remission. Thinking about you and your hubby and sending you positive thoughts and prayers.

YES! Now that's running through my head! Thanks! Yay, Donovan. Those were the groovy old days

Thanks everyone, for you very kind words and thoughts. This merry-go-round gets so tiresome. ("And they go round and round and round in the circle game" remember THAT one?)
