But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as EAGLES
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 The Bible

Faith is the wind that blows the sail of our ship to the desired destination. Unknown

Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him. Psalm 37:7 The Bible

Many uplifting things can be found in the book of Psalms.

Not trying to be preachy. The Bible is where I get most of my inspiration.

Really? You saw them in 1964? How cool.
I am old enough to remember watching them on the Ed Sullivan Show.

When I was going through chemo, a friend gave me a little notebook to write in with the title "When life gives you lemons, throw them back. Harder." I love that one.

Inside she wrote a saying that helped get me through those times on treatment when I didn't think I could take another day of feeling so awful. It's from Mary Ann Radmacher:

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow."

With love to you all...

Okay, we have to include this one - though I don't know who the author was....

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... 'Wow! What a ride!'"

May we all have a happy home run.....
