S1955 and politics of colon cancer

Postby nancy » Mon May 15, 2006 4:59 pm

I hope this doesn't post twice - I think I messed up last time!

Great job everyone who's contacted their Senators about S1955. Pressure by "just folks" is what defeated it- but it's not completely gone, and similar legislation is just waiting to be introduced. For more info, check:

I know the Colon Club isn't about politics so i will spare everyone my standard speech - but if we want Congress to pay attention to colon cancer, we need to take action - so great job to the people who did.

And watch the Preakness this weekend - the saddle blankets of the horses in the Preakness will have the blue star on them :-)
