Traveler, I have been thinking about you, and am thrilled to read this uplifting report. You sound great! As far as the headache goes, I had cochlear implant surgery 3 years ago, which involved drilling into the skull. After the surgery, I told told the surgeon that I had a migraine. His response was, "No, that's not a migraine...it's just the normal kind of headache you get when someone drills a hole in your skull." He sounded so serious it made me LOL, which made my head hurt even more! I know you are relieved to be on the other side of this procedure, and I hope you are able to get a respite from the long battle you have been in lately.
