Newbie/Lurker Here! I read your post about discovering your brain tumor and having to make all these quick decisions about where to do surgery, etc. I'm so happy to now see that you had the surgery and it went well! Congrats and good luck recovering and moving on with your treatment!

You are one lucky guy! What a miracle that the met was caught, and another miracle to get through surgery so well. Hope things continue to keep going your way, and remember that Miss Piggy loves Kermit, especially when he sings!

Wow, that is crazy all the way around finding the tumor and remarkable outcome with no damage, the surgeon sounds top notch. Best of luck with the radiation.

Traveler, I have been thinking about you, and am thrilled to read this uplifting report. You sound great! As far as the headache goes, I had cochlear implant surgery 3 years ago, which involved drilling into the skull. After the surgery, I told told the surgeon that I had a migraine. His response was, "No, that's not a migraine...it's just the normal kind of headache you get when someone drills a hole in your skull." He sounded so serious it made me LOL, which made my head hurt even more! I know you are relieved to be on the other side of this procedure, and I hope you are able to get a respite from the long battle you have been in lately.

Hey,
I just wanted to say that is fantastic! You sound so upbeat too, which I think will serve you well. I was curious where you had decided to have the surgery. I could not remember if you were already in Houston or if you were back in Chicago? In any case, congrats on finding that buggar. It makes me a little paranoid though that you had no symptoms whatsoever!
Well, rest up and get ready for the next round. I am very happy for you.
