Just an update and a postive note. I had reocurring colon cancer April,14. Then I was told lymph with 4 tumor sites (2 aortic) with maybe 2 yrs plus at most with only chemo. Now after rounds of nasty chemo and 6 surgeries (4 were really repairing what the 1st and 5 surgeries did), I am now NED. It was not easy. At times I was so sick I could not walk across my den. I now have an ostomy (which I hate by the way!) but I feel good and I am fine now. I know most of you are like me in that it is really hard not to keep waiting for the next "brick" to drop. I have another scan scheduled in late December but for right now my CEA is 2.1, the lowest it has every been. So don't lose hope! I try to value everyday.

Good thoughts to you all.
