Dad, diagnosed in his seventies, had(?) Stave IV - two liver mets were found months after a colon resection.

He had xelox, liver resection, more xelox. Maybe 6 rounds of chemo total. He continued to take his selenium, upped his 1/2 a multivitamin to a full multi a day, and added IP6 (enzymatic therapy's).

Knock wood, he's been NED since the summer of 2009, when he had the liver resection. He continues with his supplements, and we monitor the CEA (a good marker for him). He does have some form of chemo or anesthesia-induced parkinson's.
Dad, stage IV CC, mets to liver, 2007-2008
surgery, Xelox, and IP-6
NED summer 2009
surveillance stopped summer 2014, due to age
died 1/2018 at age 88, from Parkinson's and respiratory infection
(Parkinson's triggered by one of his cancer surgeries and/or chemo)
