Thostie another loss to this awful disease

Our colon club member Thostie (Erin) has passed leaving 2 small children and husband .... Aged only 30 ...so sad xxx
Victoria , Wife to Jim age 43 dx oct 2011
Stage 3 cc with 2 out of 21 positive lymph nodes
Folfox starts nov 11-may 12
All scans and bloods since surgery confirm no evidence of disease
Hoping to stay ned forever .... Fingers crossed !!!!!!!

This is heart breaking. She was so young - and with two little ones too. My deepest sympathy goes out to her friends, her family, her children. If you have a link to her obituary or a way I can send her family a card, please PM me.

terrible, heartbreaking news ... I hate this F-ing beast. Erin had been on my mind for a while and I had wondered about how she was doing. I am so sad to hear of her passing.

I am crushed to hear this news. Why this DAMN cancer has to take those who are so needed here is just frustrating beyond belief. Much sympathy to her family as they grieve this sweet mom.

That just breaks my heart thinking of those two young kids. I remember voting for Erin and her husband for that military family support award. She and Jason won $5,000 towards a trip to Hawaii where they were going to renew their wedding vows. I sure hope they got to do that. :cry:

Another young mother taken too soon. My heart is broken today for her, her children, husband and her family. May she rest in peace.
At age 46 DX 7/21/10 Stage 4 colon cancer with mets to the liver.
8/10 Folfox 6 tx
11/10 Colon/liver resection 1/29 nodes
12/10 Folfox 6 tx, NED
3/11 chemo done
11/11 recurance liver
12/11 liver resection/Hai pump
01/12-07/12 Fudor/Folfiri
