Thanks everyone! Funny thing that several of you mentioned easing into things and not planning big projects. The second day of my break, I was thinking about how much I might get done before I started chemo again. Then I had to get the laundry out of the dryer and realized that if those things got done, it was going to be near the end of the break. Certainly not any time soon...

UPDATE
Went to see onc yesterday and, based on blood work and the improvement in my color, she feels comfortable with me being off chemo for another 6 weeks! I'll go on Mar 21st for a CT scan and then see her on the 26th and we'll decide then if I'm really on chemo for life (maintenance chemo) or if we really have a chance to shrink the liver tumor.
I'm so glad to have the chance to regain my strength and stamina and, maybe, I'll lose a few pounds as well. I've gained over 50 since I started chemo in Sep 2011. Not happy about that at all.

It's been awhile since you started your chemo break,stable is good, but I would love to hear, you don't need anymore. Just really a howdy, from a redneck down in Houston, and you keep after them cancer renegades!Warm regards,

Yay for the continued break! I gained weight with irinotecan, too! Really sucks to be on chemo plus increase the chub factor.
