Happy New Year

Postby elissa » Thu Dec 27, 2012 7:24 pm

I know it is a little early, but I thought it would be nice to wish all of you a happy and healthy new year. I hope that 2013 will be a better year for everyone. I am leaving tomorrow for a short new years vacation with the man that I have been seeing for the past six months. I was blessed to have almost 23 years with John, a truly amazing man, and G-d has seen fit to bless me with another amazing man. I still come here often to see how you are all doing. This year has been a very difficulty one for this forum, losing so many wonderful people. I am truly heartbroken for all the losses. By the same token, I am so happy for all of you that are doing well. Cancer is, and forever will be a part of my life, as John had Lynch syndrome and my boys will soon be old enough to be tested. If I have learned anything from this journey, it is to take each day as it comes and appreciate every beautiful day that you are given. You can never love those that matter to you too much. I wish you all peace in the new year.

Elissa,

It is absolutely wonderful to hear from you!! I think about you often and have wondered how you and the boys are doing. As we sent our daughter off to her freshman year of college this Fall, I thought of you and your very strong oldest son. You were amazing as you sent him off to school by yourself. I am so happy to hear that you have someone to travel with and be a part of your life.

Thank you for being in touch. You have never been far from my thoughts and prayers.

Aloha,
Kathleen

❤❤❤❤ Wishing you a wonderful 2013! I'm so glad that happiness has found its way back into your life!
Xoxo I don't come to the forum too often these days for my own reasons. However, I often think of the many people I have had the pleasure of having cross my path since hopping on this crazy train!

And it left my fingers too quickly!! I came on the forum this morning after being off for what seems to be quite sometime. Anyway, yours was one of the first names I noticed! I guess it was meant to be. I wish you well!
