Hello all,
Thanks to those who responded regarding my husband's recent diverticulitis flare up. Things have subsided and he received his 3rd round of 5fu yesterday, the oncologist did cut out the Avastin and lowered the Oxy dosage, so this treatment is lower than the first 2. I know my husband is a bit discouraged having a lower dose - does anyone have experience with "dosage adjustments" with the 5fu? I know the effectiveness question is running through his mind, but of course we don't want to end up back in the hospital. I have done some reading on the Avastin effects, very confusing. Has anyone had this type of treatment continuously without Avastin?
