Denied Insurance coverage for screening:

Please let us know if you have are a New York State resident and have been denied insurance coverage for early screening for colorectal cancer.

We are currently have been lobbying the New York State Legislative Insurance Committees on Insurance and they have said if we can show them there is a problem they will approve a bill to require Insurance companies in New York State to cover these screenings. At the present they have a bill on record suggesting Insurance companies cover these screenings rather than requiring them to do so. So if you are a NYS resident and have had a problem please notify us so we can use it to prove there is a problem.

As a fellow survivor I know there are many other demands on our time, there are also many things we are helpless to change but this is one of those times that we can make a difference.
