and now we are in summer! Looks like we skipped spring this year.
The warm ambient temp can only help with the cold sensitivity, after yesterday's Oxi infusion.
I'm wondering now if I will be able to swim next Saturday, being 1 Sept which is spring day here. The pool water will still be "freezing" no doubt but I like to open the swimming season then. Even if it is a case of jumping in and then out immediately!
Forecast temps for Thur thru Sun
(Celsius) 14 deg C = 57 deg F, 30 deg C = 86 deg F
BTW regarding my infusion, we couldn't get my port to work. The previous time we used an infusion pump but yesterday even that didn't work so we ended up using a vein in the arm, which isn't ideal. My forearm is bruised and sore today. I did have a portogram done, and the conclusion is that the catheter is entering the blood vessel at too large an angle and has adhered to the vessel wall (?) . One can inject fluids easily using a syringe but the resistance is too much for the pump apparently.
So. We are probably going to abandon the port and use arm veins for the last three treatments.
