Any update on Gaelen

Postby mjkelley » Fri Jul 06, 2012 8:47 pm

I don't post much and often don't get to read new posts for days. But I've tried to keep up with most people. Noticed Galen hasn't posted in a while......

Hi Gaelen,

Thanks for checking in....get someone to bring you something YOU feel like eating (hope there's something in that category!) Is there anything that sounds good that someone could send you?? Berries probably wouldn't make it, but I bet candy bars with an ice pack would...just say the word!

Love,

Thanks for taking the energy to update us, Gaelen. I'm sorry that you have to deal with family matters right now--it's hard enough, I'm sure. My mom would do the same thing, in the hope that the right type of foods, in sufficient quantities might stave off the inevitable. It would drive me nuts, too, though I'm sure it's done out of love. Sending strong, positive thoughts,

Hi, Gaelen

I think the Bev G is a good idea, I know how you feel when you are without any hungry, but perhaps you are in a hot summer, an ice cream, or candy bars, sounds well. try to eat, and I know you are intelligent, sometimes when I was so depressive, and I can not eat nothing, because my mouth is totally close, without hungry, I try to take some beverages, inclusive vitamins, perhaps you are in a hot weather so Gatorade, or similars beverages could help too.

The best for you.

Fede

Thanks for posting Gaelen and good to see your spunk coming through. :-)

I hope that if you don't feel like eating that your family will just let you be. As we have read in many of the educational posts here recently, I know that at certain stages the body no longer wants food. If you are at that stage I hope they simply let you be. If you aren't at that stage yet, I hope someone nearby can bring you something that sounds good to you.

Take care and strong thoughts.
