Our Sweet Terry

Postby live2jett » Mon Jun 25, 2012 9:38 pm

Hi friends...I just saw from Terry's daughters that Terry has passed. Our wonderful friend no longer suffers from this disease. Keep her family in your thoughts and prayers....Thinking of how Terry loves God so much...To be absent of the body is to be present with God....welcome home my sweet friend...you are so loved.

Like so many others that see this post, I hesitated to click on it. I did not want to hear the news I felt would be in it. My tears rolling down my face are for the loss of a very special person. I know Terry is just fine. Who said it?...there is no cancer in Heaven. She touched so many of us and taught us how to deal with this disease with grace. I'll miss you Terry.

So incredibly sad to hear this. Every particle of my being is sending strength and comfort to her family. She was an amazing, sweet, sweet woman.

I am so glad that you is no longer suffering, but she will be missed by all of us here. However, that pales in comparison to the void her lovely family will feel. Terry is now soaring with the angels. We will miss you but you will never be forgotten.

I just got off the phone with Terry's husband. He wanted to let me know that Terry passed away about an hour ago. I'm stunned. Truly I loved that woman and I'm glad my last words to her were - "I love you" and she replied the same to me. Dang Terry, I'm REALLY going to miss you girlfriend! I'm just in shock right now - total shock!

I'm so sorry for the family and for you Jaynee. I'm glad that you had the chance to visit with Terry before she was called home to heaven and to tell her how much you loved her. It's a sad day for us here, but knowing that she is no longer suffering certainly helps console the heart. 3Sweeties, please know that our collective love and support go out to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for Terry's family :( My prayers and heartfelt sympathy for them as they go through this very sad time. I didn't know Terry well but well enough to see what a helpful and empathetic woman she was her and that was with friends many of whom she never even met. She may not be here physically but I know we will feel her beautiful spirit. Rest in peace, Terry. You made such a difference in so many lives! May her "sweeties" always remember what a special Mom she was and how much she loved them.

Sending gentle hugs and loving thoughts to Terry's family. She will be missed by many but now she is in a beautiful, pain-free and cancer free place. "In the arms of an angel" is running through my mind as I put this to post and I know that is where Terry is now.

Thanks Debbie for your FB post. Sending you (((((((((hugs))))))))))) as well.
Jaynee...Sending you some (((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) too.

Terry was a strong woman and strong in her Faith in God.

The 23rd Psalm comes to mind.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Gods Speed Terry, we will miss you!
