Prayers for my DH Pete today also

Hi to all,
This has been a rough week. Peter had a bad Easter weekend, couldn't eat anymore, and me trying anything, built up to a massive bowel obstruction on Tuesday. After a bad night of vomiting, I realized it was bowel obstruction, and we irrigated him. We got rid of it all, after another lot of vomiting, and then he was really without any energy, just lying there. I called the oncologist rooms, and they wanted to test some blood to see what is going on. After the results, the creatinine count is up AGAIN. They admitted him to hospital, and he only got more weak since Tuesday. He only has a urination twice a day, can't get up, and is wheezing. They got him some oxygen also tonight.
After the bowel obstruction, I realized I can't do more than that, I am not a nurse, and I really wish now I was one. When the doctor asked if I want to take him home, and he knows what a fight I put up for this darling husband of mine through the last 8,5 years. I told him I am afraid to take him home. I really am, cause I realize he needs the professionals now.
I don't think he will come home, and if he does come out of hospital, he will probably go to hospice. We are also now in a position where we realize when your time has come. After 8,5 years, your body can only take so much! ...
All my love and prayers to people in the same situation. I really know how you feel.
