Gaelen,
Congratulations on such an impressive award. I really liked the story you told about being in DC. It shows that all of your hard work and dedication have paid off for ALL of us. Thank you again for being such a fierce and passionate advocate for the colorectal community and for all the scientific research that you have done for the members on this board, for our families and just for the average person out there.

Gaelen,
We appreciate you being here to share your expertise posting on cancer research. Congratulations. You deserve this high honor. As a mother of a MN National Guard Member deployed in Iraq Kuwait and all MN family members counting the days for the 2500 MN Guard Members return..... I appreciate your work for all servicemen. When my son returns to US Soil, I plan to push him to get his first colonoscopy using your stats. Thanks so much.

Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.

Gaelen,

Wow. You go...and go and go. And over and over again you make an enormous difference, for all of us, for cancer peeps in general, and now it seems, for those yet to be diagnosed. I am so proud to call you my friend. You inspire in many ways. You are the ripple on the lake.
