There's a manout friends with on Facebook , he was stage 3 in 97 reoccurred 3 years later in lung , had op on lung but no chemo , has been cured since the year 2000 . No evidence of cancer since . 12 years free .

Stage 3 cc with 2 out of 21 positive lymph nodes
Folfox starts nov 11-may 12
All scans and bloods since surgery confirm no evidence of disease
Hoping to stay ned forever .... Fingers crossed !!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your inspiration!!! I just started on irinotechan & Vectibix after of doing well 2 yrs of first oxaliplatin & 5FU, then avastin after which scan came back with mets to ovaries. Side effects of Vectibix so horrible am thinking of stoping. But Oncs. Told me this was the last of the big 3 drugs they have for me. So I was on the verge of giving up hope when I read your post!! Whenever I try & get hope from the Oncs they give me none, it's so depressing. So again thanks so much, I'll take your inspiration with me tomorrow for round 2 of new chemo!

Dx 01/10 stage IV cc, mets to uterus & sac ofcancer seeds
Folfax 1/10-5/10
06/10 5Fu & Avastin
NED until 12/11
Mets to ovaries & cancer seeds in pelvis
01/12 start irinotechan & Vectibix
04/12 stopped iri & Vectibix-not working
