Stage 3 Colon cancer stories

I was diagnosed stage IIIC rectal cancer in 2004. I'm NED today and per my last Onc visit (Aug 2015), she used the word "cured". Never expected to hear that word. Most people move on and may not check this forum much. BUTT know there are LOTS of stage III survivor out there.

Never give up the hope.

I had aggressive stage 3 c into six nodes. In eleven days I reach the end of year 17 still cancer free. Ron.

I can't add up either, I was operated on 22nd Jan 1998 so end year 18 start year 19. Ron.

Hi OP,

July was 5 years post surgery, Oncologist cut me loose in September, March will be 5 years beyond end of treatment.
