Quick BrownBagger Update

Postby BrownBagger » Mon Oct 31, 2011 11:50 am

Well, I was pleased to hear from Dr. K this morning that the Xeloda is working--my two lung mets have shrunk and we're going keep on keeping on until they're history. So that's good. I mentioned my ribcage pain and she went back and checked my recent CT and PET scans and says that nothing shows up. But just to be on the safe side, I'm getting a bone scan at Sloan's main campus and hospital in a couple of hours (they shot me up with the radioactive juice about an hour ago). Hopefully that will be negative. My guess is that it will.

So all in all, good news so far. Halloween in NYC tonight. Interesting to say the least.

Thanks all--gotta run. Thought you'd want to hear the good news.

Fantastic news Eric :D
So pleased to hear that !
I'm sure this won't apply to you but I was complaining of rib pain about a year ago and lo and behold when I had a CT to find out what was going on, they discovered that I had a fractured rib  the last thing I was expecting to hear.

Party on buddy. Something tells me that phone call will be much easier :)

Are you staying the night? Haloween in NYC is pretty awesome, I've done it a few times, and I even remember most of them... It was extra interesting when I found myself walking through a rainbow district of sorts. Some "unique" costumes there :).
