So sorry about your Dad! I always wonder if it's better to know and have time to prepare or not. I'm sure it sucks either way! All the best to you and your family during this sad and difficult time. You have an enormous amount of support here and we'll all be thinking about you and praying.

Eric,

I'm sorry for your loss and that of your family. It did seem to go quickly - but I'm glad that you got to see them after the dx. I'm sure your dad was glad you're his son!

Wishing you & your family peace & strength,

Eric,
Losing your dad is an awful thing. You will have memories that will bring tears to your eyes and such warmth to your heart. I lost my dad to Lung Cancer last July (Yes, Mike was diagnosed only 5 weeks after my dad passsed after a year battle with Lung Cancer) Talk about a double "WTF" moment for me and my family. What I would realy like to say is that losing a dad is a different kind of hurt that you feel... none that I have ever felt before. A little over a year later, it is the strangest things that bring a smile to my face or many tears to my eyes. The obvious, bigger things don't seem to phase me as much as the little things in between... a bird, a song, Mallomar cookies, a certain movie he loved, etc... I wish you easy days ahead with your loss and your continued strength to continue kicking your own "C" monsters @#$. My prayers are with you and your family <3 <3 <3
ALWAYS IN MY HEART!
