I'm new to this site. Did not have cancer but had resection operation due to diverticulosis and uncontrolled colon bleeding. I am 14 weeks out of surgery, was opened up, but things are getting better, slowly. The muscles are coming back and the pain from the incision is getting better. My main problem now is the constant grumbling throughout my digestive system. Have 2-3 BMs a day. Mostly loose and really stinky. Gas is pretty fowl smelling also. I diet still consist of mostly bread, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, white chicken and fish. Have tried a few green cooked vegetables too but about anything else doesn't agree with me these days. Does anyone else out there know what may be causing the constant gas and fowl smell?
