suggested "sticky" topic

It would be great if there was a "sticky" that listed common side effects of cancer treatments, and what members of this board have found to help with them. Doing a search by phrase results in SO-O-O many posts... literally hours of searching and reading to glean a few hints.

Just something like:

MOUTH SORES - sometimes caused by (treatment name)

Magic Mouthwash (Rx) rinse (can be swallowed)
warm water and baking soda rinse
Orajel (topical OTC pain reliever)
"GelClair" or "GelClear"
sucking on ice pops during chemo infusion
Caphosol (lydocaine/Mylanta mis - similar to Magic Mouthwash?)

Any thoughts about this?

There was talk at one point about putting discussion areas that related to specific topics, but I don't know what came of it.

We completely agree! We are working on trying to get something organized where we might have sections for general information, information for newly diagnosed, a place to share personal stories, etc. \

It may not be really speedy, but I promise we are thinking about it. PLEASE feel free to post comments and suggestions - we really do read them, and try to respond to what the posters need and want.
