See your local enterosto-therapy nurse. Too many reasons for leaks, most correctible. Easy cure; is he rolling over on it in his sleep, applying pressure to a filling bag and forcing material out under the wafer? Maybe emptying fully before bed and again about 4 hours later (while he sleeps)? Just a thought. Good luck
Pressure - It can turn a lump of coal into a flawless diamond, or an average person into a perfect basket-case.

wafer leaks

I noticed if I take a shower or bath before I change a wafer that it almost always end up leaking under the wafer. So I don't change it any time near bathing. Also I had problems with my stoma going below and shoving bm under the wafer so I allowed a little space from wafer to stoma instead of butting them up together.
I would definitely contact your stoma nurse. I hope my info can help.
