There must be an epidemic going around! I went back to work today. Except for letting a few farts loose it was uneventful for me. Unfortunately one of my co-worker went into labor at 29 weeks and delivered a very tiny baby. So that one little project that I was going to work on to ease back in turned into three of varying sizes by this afternoon. So my boss was doubly glad to see me!

Hope your day tomorrow goes smoothly!

I loved going back to work- took my mind off of the whole cancer thing and thinking about it 24/7. It was a bit akward for others though who I had not seen since being dx'sd...I think they were a little unsure about what to ask etc. but since then I chat openly about everything and I am glad to say that may have educated a few people along the way.

Good luck with your first day back...

Going back to work as scary at first, losing the security blanket of being home with your own bathroom but it does help mental to get back to “reality “ work can be dull and boring at times. But I would rather deal with a difficult boss and irate customers any day rather then a round of chemo

well i made it through the day. no accidents. lots of trips to bathroom. urges were strong but i was able to hold them. had some pressure down there, mabye from the holding? still disappointed at the intensity of the urge and what is actually evacuated. 1 maybe 2 little pooplets. dont know why they cant come out at the same time. frustrating..

No accidents is a good thing. The rest will ease up with time. I had to learn to be patient about that one. Glad your first day back was uneventful (relatively speaking).

Whoot! Good luck!

Going back to work was hard for me. I am still working out how to get back into the swing of things. I actually consider myself lucky that my ostomy at least means my bathroom trips were never really that urgent.

Wishing you the best!
