Great website explaining different chemo protocols

Postby disco nap » Thu Feb 03, 2011 9:58 pm

This website (which seems to be updated frequently) has the following info on:

* What to know before starting treatment
* Getting started with the treatment
* How the treatment works
* Common side effects

...for the more common chemo protocols. Thought I'd pass this along for all of our new members or people just switching protocols or as a refresher for those of us who are in the midst of treatment. It's very comprehensive on what side effects to expect.

The link is to FOLFOX, the other chemo protocols are listed on the right side menu.

Hope it helps!
DX July 2 '10 CC Stage IIIC, 11/18 nodes+
Right Hemi July 6 '10
Folfox: Aug 17'10 - Feb 17'11
Mar 2012: Lynch Syndrome MLH1
"Declared well" and been well ever since.
Update: Oct 2019 - still NED.
