Hello all my dear sisters!
I have quickly read through a few pages trying to catch up. Hello to all the new members and so sorry you all have to be here!! :( :(
Wendy,
It was so hard to read your post about Freddy and hospice. I pray that you will have many beautiful memories together during this time!

Sharon,
So sorry to hear about your dog! I know how much your dogs mean to you and they have helped you get through all the rough times since Kenny's passing.

Lisa,
I think of you each day!

Shital,
We all know just how you feel! My emotions are always all over the place!!! But Matt acts like a the worst PMS case ever!!! :) He flies off the handle all the time and then says it is all our fault. We try to laugh it off but sometimes it causes some major family meltdowns.

Update on our trip and new life without jobs. The vacation was incredible! We went to the US Virgin Islands and it was the best thing we have ever done. My children will NEVER forget the memories they made with their dad on that trip. AND my daughter got engaged while we were there!!!! :D :D God is blessing us in so many ways......even if it is not the miracle we pray for each day.

You would think that now that neither Matt or I are working we would have loads of time to rest and relax! Ha Ha!! I thought life would slow down a bit but it seems just as crazy busy as ever.

I continue to pray for each of you on your journey!

Love,
Niki

Omigosh! Niki! This is so weird. I haven't been on in quite a long time - especially to this thread - but was thinking about you this morning. The thought of you, then Anji, Kathleen, and Kathy just popped right into my head. So, I thought I'd check this thread out at lunch today. Amazing the energies that connect us all as wives and caregivers.

Anyway...to you all, there is so much suffering here, it saddens me so. I'm not much of a praying person, but know that I hold you all in my thoughts. We didn't choose this road, but it tests our mettle and I guess gives us the opportunity to show the world what we're made of, for better or worse.

With all my heartfelt gratitude for your presence in my life,
Julia

Hope my little doggie died today, she is with Kenny now running free in heaven. As for me I am lost without her. She was the one who snuggled next to me when I cried. It's hard

Hi Everyone,
Guess i haven't been on in a while . Freddy passed away last Sunday evening . I was holding his hand and hugging him the whole time. I miss him terribly and am trying to stay strong. The services are now over. Tomorrow i meet his family at the ocean with his ashes. Its going to be a long road. I still can't even go in our bedroom at night. My son has moved an upstair mattress to the living room for me. Hoping someday i will get over this fear. What other choice do i have :(
Thank You all for your prayers and support.
Praying and thinking of you all everyday.

Love, Wendy

Wendy, so sorry over your loss of Freddy. You gave him the biggest gift of all love! The first night sleeping in our room was very hard, but it does get better, especially when they leave enveloped with love. Keep active it helps and be prepared when sometimes letting tears flow is the answer

Wendy,
So sorry to hear about Freddy :( I can't even imagine how sad and lonely you feel. I'm sure having you by his side was such a comfort for him (& you). I hope his love and the love of your family and friends will help you during this time. You have been strong for a very long time and it will take strength to move forward but for now as Sharon said letting the tears flow sometimes is the answer. Sometimes letting yourself feel all the emotions helps you get stronger. You are in my prayers always. May God's peace be with you. ~Paula

Dear Wendy,

I am so sorry for you to read this sad, sad news. I wish you great peace as you begin to navigate this new and very painful part of your life without him physically present. I suspect when you are able to be quite still, you will still feel him undeniably with you.

God bless you and keep you.
