February 27, 1977 - March 19, 2011
Queah Tacarr Habern went to heaven at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, after a long illness stemming from colon cancer.
Queah was born on Sunday, February 27, 1977, in Jackson, Michigan to her parents Donna Terrell and Ivan Habern. She joins her grandparents Rollo and Bessie Terrell of Albion, Michigan and Fannie Mae and Robert Habern of Albion, Michigan in Heaven.
Queah lived a rich life in her 34 years. She had a passion for travel having visited 13 countries and was planning to visit more. With her infectious personality she made many national and international friends along the way. That passion for travel took her to South Beach, Florida in February, and less than a week before her death, she visited Dallas attending a Mavericks-Lakers game.
Queah was a graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, but she followed her passion for fashion and began working for Nordstrom's Department Stores in management, opening new stores in Columbus, Ohio and Houston, Texas. In Houston, she put her customer service skills to use in contract manufacturing, working as a project manager for Suntron Corporation in Sugarland, Texas and Benchmark Corporation in Angleton, Texas.
She is survived by her mother, father, and an uncle. She is loved and adored by a host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300 in Little Rock, Arkansas, followed by a private memorial service. The family has requested donations be sent to Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210, in lieu of flowers.
