I am sorry to report that Lisa Dubow's 9-year battle with Colorectal Cancer has ended.

Lisa is Miss March 2007 in this year's colonder.

Lisa passed away yesterday morning, July 24, 2007 in the presence of friends and family at her home in California.

She has asked that contributions be made to a research fund she started last year, which will provide research funding to young investigators doing laboratory research in colorectal cancer treatments.

Rob, thank you so much for posting this. Lisa was an inspiration to a lot of us...and she will be missed terribly.

Don't forget that many employers will match your contribution to C3's Lisa Dubow Research Fund.

The Colorectal Cancer Coalition is a 501(c)3 non-profit (EIN # 20-2622550) and has pledged that 100 % of all contributions instructed to go to the Lisa Fund will go directly and completely to Research. All administrative costs are separately covered by C3.

I know Lisa wanted to live to see the results of the Fund's research. Although she did not, her spirit is alive and her caring for others still continues through the Research Fund that bears her name.
