well it is sad she couldn't beat the crap cause she fought really hard and was smiling even at the end. i just hope seeing her in her last days will light a fire under some peoples butts and they will get a colonoscopy. also i wish the tv news reports would quit saying she died of inoperable lung cancer and say it was colon cancer that had spread to the lungs. big difference!

She certianly fought hard. It's sad to see her go.

Maybe someone will see her long and brave struggle with this disease and get the wake up call they need. I just wish someone didn't have to die to wake others up.

The Washington Post correctly identified her cancer as CC. She was very open about it herself. She even talked about delaying her diagnosis because of embarrassment, a common problem. She was quite a spokeswoman. I hope her words carry on.
