As much as I prefer Osmoprep to any other method, the whole thing is still an experience I do my best to forget from one time to the next. My colonoscopies are usually around 9 in the morning. It is a total of 32 pills. To the best of my memory, the first 20 are grouped together, 4 every 20 minutes (I think), starting around noon. Then 4 hours later, the last 12, again 4 every 20 minutes.
I repeat, this is approximate. I really do try to block the whole thing. I've got a tremendous gag reflex and have trouble with lots of stuff, from the liquid prep for a colonoscopy to now even the contrast for a CT scan. Near the end, I do start having a little trouble even with the pills, and end up taking a Zofran for nausea before I finish them.
