Xeloda and CT Scan results

Hi everyone
I was notified on the phone by my Onocologist that there was significant improvement showing in my recent Ct Scan. Although I have multiple tumors, there was shrinkage after 3 treatments with Xeloda(after 3 treatments, 5 days each).

For example:
one tumor was 7.2x6.5
it is now 6.5x6

another tumor was 11.5x7
it is now 11 x6.4

(this is the first time since I have started chemotherapy in May of 2004 that there has been ANY tumor shrinkage


There was also significant shrinkage in the lymph nodes concerning the abdomen.

I hope this encourages anyone who is feeling at their wits end regarding treatments-

Great news Rochelle,
My first CT showed shrinkage in all of my tumors as well.
The best part is we can do this at home with mimimum side
effects. I wish you continued success.
