Who is sick of their guts today?

Postby Bev G » Fri Oct 15, 2010 8:49 pm

I am. And that's all I'll say about it. I'm just giving up and going to bed now, even though it's early. But that's OK, I'll be up again in a minute, if you know what I mean

Good night (sort of) all.

Love, Bev

SICK, SICK, SICK!!!!!!! With diet changes I've lost some weight and thought about buying some new undies to reward myself - but then realized what's the point? Calmoseptine stains them all - old and new; may as well just stick to the old grandma panties that are already stained with calmoseptine and A&D. I suppose I'll have to replace them eventually, but staining new/pretty undies would really depress me.

I can't believe I just wrote that.........

Finally got some good sleep last night. Slept so well that when I woke up (slept in till 4 am) my appliance blew off from gas. The appliance that took an hour to change yesterday because my stoma just wouldn't stop.

It is usually no big deal, but it was just exhausting.

ME! Had four loses at crap or gas this week, all at school. Thank goodness they are not too big and I wear a full size pad everyday. I can't figure my system out I can usually go all day without any bms then go multiple times in the evening. sSmetimes I don't go for 3-5 days without any pain or discomfort. Gas and some movements hurt.I keep a food log eat bland and do know that greasy foods are a no no. The bright side is the stoll is now pinky size rather than pencil.. I had a dialation in May which helped a bit. I am thinking about asking for another. Poop, man's best friend.....

Me too - the radiation damage to the remaining j-pouch tissue just is frustrating and different foods make it react differently - today was a rough day - UGH!

I am sick of it - the smell, the warmth of liquid sitting in a bag on my body, the weight of it, the worry about explosions, worry about leakage. But don't get me wrong, I am often grateful for my ileostomy but only if I can remember to be thankful. Today, I can't remember to be thankful. I don't want to be brave. It does feel really great to complain! Can we whine more often on this forum??
