well... wish me luck!

Postby starbuck30 » Thu Oct 14, 2010 7:50 am

So here we go. In about an hour, a friend comes to take me out to breakfast (though I must confess to not much of an appetite), then I go to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for bloodwork, the I meet with my onc to discuss my CT results. I'm not really sure I'm processing anything very well at the moment (right now I just want to pull the sheets over my head and go back to sleep). I'll probably be all babbly at breakfast and order chemo-eggs with cancer-bacon or something. But you know what? Screw it if I do. The time has come (the walrus said), to talk of many things. Serious things. Possibly life-altering things. So enough screwin' around. I wants to get my results on, yo! Ah, nervous, loopy Starbuck. A mixture of Lewis Carroll and Jay-Z.

At any rate, wish me luck! I'll also be thinking of and wishing the best for Eric and Bill as I fidget my way to the appointment.

So c'mon results! Show me what ya got!

Much love to all (especially all of you having a tough time, and to Eric and Bill),
Starbuck
