I am thankful that initially, the first insurance company I was on, refused to pay all of my bills. I learned how to read my bills and correct errors.
I was recently charged for a blood test that never took place. I questioned it, they apologized, and it is off of my bill.
Anyone can make a mistake, and with medical bills like ours, the odds are in our favor that an error will occur. This is only the second error I received since switching insurance companies about 5 years ago.
