Finally have the results

Postby Gail » Thu Dec 22, 2005 10:32 am

Finally have the colonoscopy results. Both were pre-cancerous. 1 was Tubular adenoma with Mid displasia and the other was Tubulovillous Adenoma with high displasia on borderline of Stage 0 Cancer.
No chemo needed. Doing another colonoscopy in 6 months. Also, still having dark blood in stool. Doc seems to think it is coming from another possible growth in my small intestines. Doing a Endoscopy next month.
Thank you all for your prayers and support. God Bless and Merry Christmas to you ALL.

Great News!

Dear Gail,
Congratulations on your news. Keep on with the tests as scheduled and stay alert to any changes that might occur. The endoscopy is not that difficult...I had both ends done on the same day. My joke has always been: What's the difference between a colonoscopy and an endoscopy... The Taste!
Have a great holiday season and stay healthy.
